CHATTERBOX – this is the voices in your head, one moment it is encouraging you, when you say things like “This is good” “ I can do this” and at times it is knocking your confidence “I’m never going to be able to do this” I’m sure I’m going to get this wrong” “ I’m no good at interviews, speaking in groups” etc, etc. If you are driving along a dual carriageway and you think the lorry next to you is a bit close and you start to look at the side of it – you start to move towards it. What you focus on you get! If you tell yourself this is going to be difficult it will be – what you focus on in life you give meaning to. It might not always feel like it but YOU control your chatterbox. So next time you find yourself focussing on what is bad, you are not good at, change what you are saying.
Whatever you are saying to yourself right now ……. Change it to something more useful!
